is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. It’s a hardware platform made up of a series of electronic circuit boards equipped with a microcontroller. The idea was created and developed in 2005 by some members of the Interaction Design Institute of Ivrea as an instrument for rapid prototyping and for hobby, educational and professional purposes. www.arduino.cc

In addition to design and consultancy activities, it also provides prototyping and creative services giving clients access to its precious instruments. MY ROBOT P

A robot-designer who imitates me but doesn’t copy.

P draws.
It moves a compatible cursor with the use of motors and different types of pens, markers and pencils of various sizes.

P has two brains.
Its electronic control is managed by the combination of two different circuit boards: Raspberry Pi hosts a website which is accessible from a Wi-Fi network thanks to which you can upload the files to run whilst Arduino receives the data package used to manage the drivers of the stepper motors.

P is my new colleague.
P imitates me.
P imitates me but doesn’t copy.
